Founded in March 2026 in Tsukuba, IBN TECH was established by five scientists united by a shared passion for materials science and surface phenomena. Our team brings deep interdisciplinary expertise spanning chemistry, physics, and nanostructured materials.

Our close proximity to the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) provides a world‑class research ecosystem that accelerates innovation and strengthens our scientific foundation.

Technology Description

At the core of IBN TECH’s innovation is a dry adhesive material that enables reversible attachment and detachment without residue or surface damage.

Unlike conventional adhesives, our materials:

  • Require no curing, solvents, or liquids
  • Maintain performance in air, underwater, and in vacuum
  • Allow repeated attach–detach cycles with consistent adhesion
These properties are achieved through precise control of surface structure and interfacial interactions inspired by natural systems.
